About Valkyrie Tattoo

I am Silvana, the face behind Valkyrie Tattoo. I work by hand, because handpoke has something special for me. It is mysterious in a quiet way. Almost hypnotic. Calming too. The tempo, the rhythm, the focus... it feels like a small ritual in which everything can become quiet for a moment.

I started tattooing because I wanted to use my creativity to create something that someone doesn't just find beautiful, but also wears with pride. A tattoo is personal. It is not just about a beautiful design, but about that one feeling: joy and wonder when an idea from your head suddenly becomes real. On your skin. Forever.

My work revolves a lot around runes and bindrunes, characters and animals in Old Norse and Celtic style. Symbolism that is powerful, but may be applied calmly — sharp in line and timeless in appearance. Sometimes you come with a clear plan, sometimes with a feeling or meaning. Both are good. Together we translate that into a design that is right in shape, placement and story.

In my private studio in Weelde, I work one-on-one, with full attention. So that you don't just find the result beautiful, but also experience the session as something good.
